Yael Yuzon writes song about K-drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’

• Wrote a song about Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Happened sa Start Up last year, happened again with hometown. Relatable characters ni Kim Seon-Ho i guess. I write about things that move me. Nice show no? Para kang nagbakasyon sa isang coastal town with lots of love stories unfolding.

  Sponge Cola vocalist Yael Yuzon has revealed that he wrote a song about the hit Korean drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,’ October 17, Sunday.

  Yuzon was referring to the band’s song entitled ‘Siguro Nga,’ which was inspired by another Korean drama ‘Start Up.’ “Wrote a song about ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.’ Happened with ‘Start Up’ last year, happened again with Hometown,” he tweeted.

  “Different forms of love, daming bases covered, perfect balance ng light and weight. Parang life lang, minsan mabigat, minsan magaan,” he added. Yuzon also admitted that he is still undecided about the title of the song, whether it will be ‘Hometown,’ or ‘Penguins and Polar Bears.’

  ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ is a South Korean romantic comedy series with 16 episodes that can be watched in a popular streaming platform. It stars actors Shin Min-ah and Kim Seon-ho.
