3 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT DOUBT ONLINE DATING

  As Filipinos with conservative culture we can’t deny that there’s a piece of us which still believes that the cyberspace can’t really be a way to meet the love of your life. Or if there’s a situation like such, we still consider it wrong because it is rooted in us that physical interaction has a big role to play in our relationships. Not only that, we also believe that words are cheap.

  However, in our generation  where smartphones are dominating and there’s nothing impossible within the communication lines, do we still hold on to the beliefs rooted in us that love is not love when it’s bounded by the screens of your gadgets?

  So we list down the three reasons why you should not limit the powers of cyberspace for the search of the love of your life…

  1. Trying online dating apps or websites is not for the desperate!

  Ugh, let’s break the thought that those who’re trying out online dating apps or websites are so desperate for love. Can’t it be like another avenue to have fun and see if love comes on the side?

  Stop being so judgmental on people who’re trying their love luck through online dating. What if #MayForever on Tinder?

  2. Because when love comes, even if it’s online, you’ll know that it is already it.

  It doesn’t matter if you bumped into each other through poking on Facebook, or liking each others’tweet, or through the comment section in your posts, or through Clash of Clans. As they always say, love will always find its way to you. And when love has finally reached you, you’ll just know that this is it. Come on, guys, give cyberspace a chance to prove itself that there’s nothing wrong in trying out. ;)

  3. Because love knows no boundaries.

  Love won’t always be near you or the person next to you. It might be in New York already asleep and you’re here in Manila surviving the traffic. Love might not be anywhere near you but needs another line to connect, another line to make your hearts meet halfway.

  You might not find love when you travel, or when you roam around a library, or when you attend a friend’s wedding but possibly, at the tip of your fingers when you comment, like, or share a post. Who knows? And who cares? After all, love knows no boundaries. Not even cyberspace.
