5 Questions To Answer Before Saying “Ayoko Na, Tapos Na Tayo”

• Misunderstandings and challenges are common in relationships. Sometimes, these problems often lead to “falling-out-of-love” and mostly end up in break-ups. Nobody wants to have regrets. So here are some questions that you need to answer first for a “no-regret” break-up.

  

  “Have I thought of this carefully?”

  Think once, twice, thrice before breaking-up! Consider what might happen once a decision was made. And always remember that “’pag tapos na, tapos na.” Before deciding, consider everything and think about every little detail first. Do not be in a hurry. Breathe and think carefully.

  

  “Can I afford to see him/her with somebody else?”

  Splitting up with your other half means both of you are now free from each other. You cannot control what he or she’s going to do with his/her life. Can you manage knowing that he/she is with someone now and it’s not you?

  

  “What went wrong?”

  Think about what happened between the two of you that led to your situation right now. Analyze what went wrong. Consider the questions “ano bang mali ko?” and “ano bang dapat ginawa ko?” You’re together in this relationship. You both have faults in one way or another. Think about it carefully and see if fixing it would still be possible.

  

  “Did I understand him/her, not only listen?”

  In a relationship, it’s very vital that you sit down together and talk. Along with this, it’s also equally important that you don’t only listen to each other but understand. On moments that your relationship is at the edge of its end, take time to understand everything with pacified hearts and ready-to-listen ears.

   

  “Is this the best?”

  Keep in mind that once you made a decision, you should be able to stand by the choice that you made. Remember, leaving is not always the remedy but so as staying.
