  Being the only girl in a group of friends has advantages and disadvantages. You’ll get to experience having doubted by your partner, and at the same time, by their girlfriends. But a friendship is something that happens out of your control. When you click, you click regardless of what your genders are. Being the only girl in the group isn’t bad after all. There are lots of good things about being one of the boys and we want to share with you some perks that you’ll get having surrounded by boys as friends.

   

  You are well-taken care of.

  You’ll always feel like it’s as if you have bodyguards protecting you all the time, most especially when you are dating someone. Aside from your parents, that potential guy of yours will have to pass your boy best friends’ screening as well. Moreover, going out with your friends won’t be that hard because they will always be willing to adjust to you. Most of the time, your bonding session will have to be in your house, or at least within your vicinity. Your parents will always be at peace knowing that you’ll be going out with them because they know that your friends will make sure that you will be safe. Not to mention that it will already be a norm for your friends to drop you home every time!

   

  There will be less drama.

  Fights and misunderstandings are inevitable in all kinds of relationships, and it does not exclude friendship. One of its most difficult phases is when two of your friends are not in good terms. There will be a good chance of social media wars and endless rants. But it’s kind of different in a man’s world. Maybe that’s just how they are, and that’s why this situation is much easier to handle. Sure, there will be a verbal argument. Some might even provoke a physical fight. But when they have already released all their anger, they’ll find a way to sort it out immediately. Then, the next thing you know, everything is back to normal.

  Another nice thing about having boy best friends is they can be brutally honest with you. They won’t sugarcoat things, and they will not hold back. If what they see is not pleasing to the eyes, they will tell you without going around in circles. If you aren’t used to hearing honest and straightforward opinions, you’ll most likely get offended. But once you understand that that’s just how they are, you’ll get to appreciate how helpful their criticisms are. And you’ll love them even more because you will soon realize that they mean no harm. For all you know, they have been very blunt about their opinions because they only want what’s best for you.

   

  You get to understand the male mentality.

  Having boy best friends will help you somehow understand how they see things and think things through. There you will realize how different a woman’s point of view is from a man’s point of view. Moreover, you’ll have different interpretations from different points of view when your date confuses you. Your wavelength won’t be that much different from your partner’s wavelength because you understand how men think and interpret things from their perspective.

   

  They are a reminder that you deserve all the best things in life.

  These guys will treat you like a princess and they will prove to you that you deserve to be treated that way. You’ll always keep in mind how your boy best friends love, value, and protect you. You’ll know what you deserve, and you’ll make that a standard for the people who are about to enter your life. If you date someone who does not even do half of what your boy best friends do for you, then you better think twice. You know why? Because these guys won’t allow someone to treat their baby girl less than she deserves.
