What Not To Say After A One-Night Stand?

  It’s very rare that two strangers, who just met in a sex, gets a happily-ever-after love story. Because nothing is really meant to happen after a one-night stand. After all, you’re just strangers who needs to get under the sheets that night–no strings attached, no emotional connection.

  So just in case you’ll stumble on this kind of night, here are the things that you must not really say…

  1. “Good morning, sunshine.”

  No. No. You just don’t really need to greet the stranger you slept with last night with your bright eyes and say ‘good morning’ with whatever endearment you have in mind. This is not a RomCom. As soon as your eyes gets the view of the sun, or even before that, try to leave. But if that’s your house, go out and grab a coffee until the stranger leaves.

  2. “What’s your name again?”

  Seriously, dude? You don’t have to. It’s okay. Because you might be moaning the wrong name last night and that would be really awkward.

  3. “I’m pregnant.”

  That’s not a good joke, my goodness gracious!

  4. “Want to have some brunch?”

  Even if you think that breakfast would be really good with someone, just don’t do it after a one-night stand. Don’t even bother cook. Remember, you don’t have a commitment here. Just call a friend and eat with them.

  5. “Can I borrow your jacket?”

  Tsk, tsk. If you really want to see him/her. And if you still want another round, with all means, go and borrow a jacket.

  6. “Want to drink?”

  It’s a trap, baby! And if you’ll grab one, then you’ll end up drunk, and the rest will be history. Well, unless you want to do it again. Then maybe you can go with the flow.

  7. “So what happens now?”

  Nothing needs to happen, really. You just gotta dress yourself and leave. Because that’s what really happens. And maybe you can grab breakfast…by yourself.

  8.”Can I add you on Facebook?”

  Don’t even try to, honey. Don’t even. Please.

  These are the things that you must not even try to say in case you want to get over this night right away. But if ever you’re looking for forever, then maybe you can try saying these. And let’s see if odds are in your favor. ;)
