Nobody likes the feeling of having to end a relationship with their partners. May it be a toxic relationship, or a great one, once you decided to call it quits, it will really tear you into pieces.

Regardless how long you two have been together, a breakup is a breakup. But what exactly happens after the breakup? Do you just listen to The Script, do you cry your heart out, or do you just move on? Let’s find out here.

As illustrated on Arkitekyuklid page there are “13 Things that Women Do After a BreakUp.”  Arkitekyuklid is a known Facebook page with almost over 250 thousand page likes. It started around May 14, 2019. The page aims to tell the people the goodness of God through this page. Despite of your failures, God is always in the midst, always reaching out to you.

Here are the common things women do after the breakup:

    There’s a lot of crying

It really is heartbreaking to call it quits with someone whom you have spent a lot of time with. Whether you are the one who initiated the breakup or not, it still hurts to part ways with someone who you thought you will be spending forever with. It’s okay to cry over the things that you remind you of him like a song, certain food, or even the place you spent your anniversary at.

You turn to food for comfort

There is a reason why the term “comfort food” is invented. When things go wrong, what do you usually do? You eat. You eat your heart out. It seems like the only thing that is constant in your life is food. Food is life after all, right?

    You watch sad movies

Di ko alam kung anu-anong movie ito. Basta nakakaiyak. XD

Let’s admit it, you want to drown yourself more with sorrow. Feeling sad? Make yourself even sadder by watching sad movies. Sad movies give you the satisfaction and makes you feel like you are the main character. In pain, in tears. Can you still remember your go-to sad movie?

    New hair, New Me

They say girls who cuts her hair is currently moving on. Where is the lie, though? A change in the girls’ hairstyle signifies that there is a big change in their lives. It’s proven and tested. *winks

Whenever you don’t feel good, you friends will surely be there to the rescue! They will come running well not physically for now since there is a pandemic but virtually. They are always to the rescue! Some will cry with you, some will make fun of you, and some are ready to go to the ends of the world to avenge you to your ex! The warfreaks are our fave for sure!

    Travel

Yan yan. Yung gusto magmuni-muni at magisip-isip. Kadalasan puntahan, baguio or tagaytay para malamig, kagaya ng nanlamig nilang pag-ibig.

“Where do broken hearts go?” Feeling broken, go travel! This is one of the go-to solutions of the brokenhearted. But during this pandemic, all you can do is travel from your bedroom to the kitchen and sometimes you can go to your balcony for some sight-seeing. Out of towns can wait. Safety first!

    Improve herself

Oh diba!

Self-improvement is a good diversion. It makes everyone better when they look good. New hair, new style of clothing, new pair of shoes, and sometimes a new hobby comes handy, too! Why sulk up in the corner when you can improve yourself?

    Put herself out there

Sobrang mali….

Break ups can be hard but don’t let it stop you from loving again or from putting yourself out there. It doesn’t have to right away. It can be weeks or months after your breakup. Take all the time you need to heal. Believe that one day you will start to put yourself out there and begin trusting and loving again.

Seek healing and comfort from God
