To You Who’s Walking Single To 2017

  The universe is so proud of you! You went through a lot this year. A lot of things happened and you can’t even understand why those happened. People left this year and opportunities are missed. But let me tell you this, congratulations, you braved them. Alone.

  This year, things didn’t turn the way you want them to but you have accepted and embraced them with everything that you are. It made you stronger. You even faced heartbreaks and you moved on alone even if you can forget about it with another person. But because you know that you’re just using someone if you will, you turned your back and moved forward. Even if you need someone to put your heart back together you chose to build your heart on your own again.

  For choosing standards over affection, for picking love over companionship, for choosing to wait, for knowing the right time to fall in love than to be impulsive, you’ve done it all right. Good job!

  You’re walking this year again without someone to kiss when midnight of January 1 strikes. You’re ending the year with yourself again. You’re walking to another year, making goals for yourself, for your future love. And just like on the other years, you’re adding “be in a relationship” again on your list for the coming year. It’s okay. Keep on writing it. Keep on putting it on your goals. Because one day, when your stars and somebody’s stars find each other, when Cupid has struck the right heart, when the butterflies in your tummy find the right groove, you’ll never be alone again.

  Just believe. Just trust the universe because it has its perfect timing for everything. Everything is working for you.

  There might be days when you are idle, when you feel like nothing’s happening, believe me, something’s working out just for you. Just keep on moving forward. Just keep on living. Just keep on seizing the days that you can still do things on your own. Because one day, the universe will suddenly conspire, the time will be perfect, cupid has found the right heart, and the butterflies in your tummy has found the right choreography. You’ll be just there, caught off guard, falling in love again.
