10 Hotel Hacks You Probably Didn’t Know

• If you are fond of traveling, you consider hotels as your second home. But sometimes, not all the things you need can be found in your room.

  You don’t need to buy this and that, especially if it’s not worth spending a single peso. You just have to be smart with all the things available in your room.

  Put your phone inside a glass and viola! You now have a speaker. Just don’t turn up the volume too high if you don’t want your neighbors be knocking on your door.

  No outlet for your charger? No problem. Grab your USB cord and plug it on your room’s TV.

  Condition everything, literally.  Any hair conditioner can be used as an eye makeup remover, shaving cream, cuticle cream and can even be used to unclog drains.

  Make a DIY scrub. Get those sugar packets and start mixing them in a bowl of water for an instant exfoliator.

  If you feel like snoozing but gets bothered with curtains wide opened, you can use a hanger (just make sure it has clips) to draw them together.

  If you have a leftover food, don’t throw it away yet! Cover it with a shower cap and leave it on the table or put in inside the mini fridge.

  You have a formal meeting later but your long sleeves has unwanted creases. Prepare a steam bath (if you’re hotel room doesn’t have, you can create one by turning up the hot water and closing off the bathroom) Hang your clothes inside it and wait for a few minutes.

  If you’re too lazy to make a DIY steamer, you can use a blower and hold it close to your shirt to  remove the wrinkles on it.

  But if you find yourself lucky and find an iron in your room, why not use it to toast your bread? Just don’t forget to wrap your bread with an aluminum foil.
