2017: Make Your Travel Happen

  To travel more is what everyone put on top of their New Year’s resolutions but just like so many other resolutions, this one starts with the best motivations but often ends with nothing.

  When you ask someone who’s resolution is to travel more, most people make up reasons such as “Tight ang schedule, eh.”, “Wala pa kasing pera.” or “Wala kasi akong makasama, eh.” Blah-Blah-Blah and the list never goes short.

  Make that travel happen tomorrow. Plan, read, find and book yourself a trip.

  

  Don’t be that person who is afraid to commit. You HALF-check flights, look up some fancy hotels, and maybe even went to a supermarket to buy stuff you’ll be bringing. But when it comes down to purchasing the trip, they start to hesitate and say, “Ay, wait, baka ‘di ‘to worth it. Pag-isipan ko muna.”

  I cannot blame you on that, because change is really hard and getting out of your comfort zone is sometimes harder. It takes guts and a lot of mental energy to overcome it.

  Turning your travel dream into reality will induce you into an OMG moment where there’s always a mix of excitement, fear and doubt.

  The moment you bought yourself your plane ticket, you know there’s no going back knowing the cost of flight re books. You’re definitely going and you’re locked into it.

  Soon you’ll be in a place that is totally new to you, like you know nothing about. You know no one, and maybe don’t speak their language.

  

  Don’t get intimidated. Don’t let fear and doubt ruin your sense of adventure.

  While some have the spirit of travelling but lacks the money to proceed, wake up! In today’s generation, travel has now become LESS EXPENSIVE, thanks to all the blogs, magazines, apps, travel hacking websites and deal sites out there in the internet.

  Commit to your New Year’s resolution, travel more and book a flight, and the rest is easy.

  Don’t let yourself fall into the ‘what ifs’ but instead fell into place and wonder why you were ever worried at all.

  

  Take the leap this year and get out of your comfort zone.
