Aside from the visible cultural differences among the people during the Aliwan Fiesta, it’s also easy to notice the variety of festival lovers in the event and it’s always fun to mix in with the people in this brilliant fiesta! Thing is, do you know where to find them?
Why don’t we look into the kinds of festival lovers Aliwan has? Here we go!
1. “I need some grub!”
Who loves all sorts of food the Aliwan Fiesta has to offer? The food lover, of course! For you, cupcake, you should check out the Shoppers Bazaar. Not only does it have souvenir items and fashion items, there are also many choices of the local delicacies!
2. “I am the camera!”
“What the eye sees, the camera captures.” That must be the motto for photo takers who absolutely love getting different shots for others to see! Naturally, they’re not just any shots. They’re amazing pictures that accurately show the fun of the Aliwan Fiesta! If this is your thing, it’s suggested that you join the photography competition!
3. “Have no fear, the party goer’s here!”
They give life into parties, concerts and just about any gathering. Party goers are the real deal if you want the party fever. What better place is there to find them in Aliwan, you wonder? Although they might be scattered everywhere in the venue because of the fun-filled fiesta, you have higher chances of finding them in Pasakalye! As already said though, they can still be anywhere, so keep a look out!
4. “My moves are on fire!”
If dancers—aspiring or professional—aren’t talking about their feelings, expect that they’re showing it through movement. And since they love movin’ and groovin’, take them with you to watch the magnificence of the Grand Street Dance Competition! It’s an enjoyable match to the max.
5. “I can outshine these people!”
We all know there will be that one person or two who brings out their inner “selfie mode” – the Queen Wannabe. They take out their pocket mirrors or borrow someone else’s, or use their smartphone’s front camera then constantly check their pretty faces. In that case, they might be interested to watch the Reyna ng Aliwan pageant full of pure Filipina beauties! Some may consider it to get makeup tips for their porcelain skin.
6. “I’m proud of our culture!”
For the entire 3-day event of the Aliwan Fiesta, culture lovers can get the most joy out the whole experience! The Shoppers Bazaar’s extravagant goods, the Pasakalye’s lively stage numbers, the Float Parade’s display of breathtaking creative designs, the Grand Street Dance Competition’s spectacular presentation, and more! Culture lovers should never miss out!
