Catch the 10-minute light-and-sound show in front of CCP from September 27 to January 5 every 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm.
Cultural Center of the Philippines officially opened on September 8, 1969. On its 50th anniversary there will be a light that are set to dance to the music written by National Artist for Literature Bienvenido Lumbera titled “Pagdiwang sa Ginintuang Pagsilang,” and orchestrated by the National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab.
Aside from the 10-minute light shows, there are also beautiful lanterns hanging on the façade of CCP’s main building. These lanterns are made by Kapampangan crafters led by Arvin Quiwa.
A 20-foot sundial can also be seen in front of the lawn. This represents the significance of arts and culture in society through time.
We are still far from the Christmas season but CCP’s light will give you the Christmas feels as early as September!
