  Frequent flyers avoid spending more time at the airport due to layovers ’cause who want it anyway, right? If you are one of those people who hate layovers, then direct flights are jsut for you!

  And during the last quarter of 2018, Ninoy Aquino International Airport and a few emerging air hubs in the country have an addition of new flights.

  Cosmo.ph has listed these new flights for you and here are the direct flights that you can book on your next travel.

  PHILIPPINE AIRLINES

  1. Manila to Sapporo

  PAL launched last December 2018 their non-stop flight to the capital of Hokkaido making it the sixth destination from Manila.

  2. Manila to New York

  You can now get to New York for only 16 hours on an Airbus A350-900. It is comprised of 30 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 241 economy seats. Flight frequency will increase within 2019.

  BANGKOK AIRWAYS X PHILIPPINE AIRLINES

  PAL partnered with Bangkok Airways to allow its passengers to fly straight between Bangkok and Manila and vice versa. Plans are in the works to expand this partnership in the future to service other destinations in Thailand.

  CEBU PACIFIC

  1.Manila to Melbourne

  Cebu Pacific is now offering flights to Melbourne, its second destination to Australia every Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

  2.Cebu to Macau

  You can now fly non-stop to Macau for four times a week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

  JAPAN AIRLINES

  1.Manila to Haneda (Tokyo)

  You can now fly to Haneda  which is typically used for domestic and regional flights. Haneda is a much closer airport to central Tokyo.
