Commuting everyday is not a piece of cake. Just think of the hellish traffic we encounter every day, really stressful, right? But what makes it more stressful are the phrases we don’t want to hear during a commute but hear it more often than we should.
Here are some common expressions we don’t want to encounter during a commute as much as possible:
“Hindi po tayo dadaan doon, ibababa na lang kita sa sakayan papunta doon.”

What makes this more unpleasant to the ears is when you realize you’re already far away from destination.
“Mamaya na lang ‘yung sukli mo”

Worst comes to worst, you forgot to get your change.
“plus 200 maulan po kasi eh.”

Mr. Taxi Driver taking advantage of the rain, ey?
“May banggaan daw sa unahan kaya traffic.”

Uh-oh.. Plus 2 hours on your travel time.
“Ate/Kuya, bukas ‘yung bag mo”

Yes, it may sound really helpful but the truth is, it made your heart beat fast thinking you lost something.
“Holdap ‘to!”

The last thing we will ever want to hear.
