Everyone is very much aware of the traffic situation Metro Manila has. No one could not deny the fact that the country does not have the best public transportation system to offer.
Metro Manila was named as one of the cities with the worst traffic in the world according to the navigation app, Waze.
The government launched a few projects to improve the transport system to help ease the commuting experience of every working Filipino. The government has extended the free ride for all the commuters for a month after the rehabilitation of the MRT 3 has been completed.
Free MRT-3 rides is extended until May 30, 2022.
According to Inquirer.net, President Rodrigo Duterte made the announcement few months ago during the inauguration of the MRT-3 rehabilitation project in the Shaw Boulevard station in Mandaluyong City.
The free MRT-3 rides has been extended until May 30, 2022. It is now improved with 18-22 operating trains that can run for 60kph with an eight to 10-minute intervals.
The experience will not be complete without the use of the fully operational escalators and elevators! Saves more time and effort for all the commuters!
This project aims to improve the current daily commuting experience of Filipinos in Metro Manila.
