Travelling makes me feel more alive. It broadens my mind and allows me to be more open to new adventures and ideas.

Last March 2016, I visited the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City.
Baguio is one of the culture-rich cities in the Philippines. From their cathedrals, camps, parks, to museums and tribal villages.
Not to mention, this is precisely a rich blend of a Western landscape and Filipino culture that makes the ‘City of Pines’ so interesting.
I stayed in Azalea Residences and Hotel for three (3) days and two (2) nights. In that short span of time, I was able to go to some known places in Baguio.

I went to Camp John Hay, the Philippine Military Academy, The Mansion, Wright Park and the famous home of ube jams, Good Shepherd Convent.
Of all the places I have visited, my favorites are Tam-Awan Village and BenCab.

Tam-Awan is a village for different tribes in Cordillera set in the rolling slope of Benguet province.
Meanwhile, BenCab Musuem is a place dedicated to Benedicto Cabrera, a Philippine National Artist. The place is composed of several galleries that houses his paintings and collection of indigenous Cordillera art works.

I am fond of travelling to different places because it makes me appreciate this wonderful world we live in.
