US-based travel magazine names Siargao, Palawan, Boracay, as best islands in Asia

A US-based luxury and lifestyle travel magazine has named three islands in the Philippines as top islands in Asia, October 7, Thursday.
The 34th Readers’ Choice Awards of the Condé Nast Traveler has identified Siargao in Mindanao, Palawan in Luzon, and Boracay in Visayas as best islands, together with seven other places, in Asia.
Siargao is the best island at number one spot. The place is known as the Surfing Capital of the Philippines, taking pride in its white beaches and many natural wonders.
Recently, Siargao also landed on Time Magazine’s list of ‘The World’s 100 Greatest Places of 2021.’ A Time writer cited its beachfront which “has been best known to a dedicated band of surfers lured by consistent waves.”
