Watch: Ruffa Mae Quinto As Your Waze Navigator

• Traffic has been a part of every Filipino’s life. A commuter spends two to four hours a day in traffic and you have to endure that to and from work. With the advent of technology, several applications were launched to ease the everyday life of a commuter . Among these apps is Waze.

  Waze is the largest community-based traffic and navigation app. App users share real time traffic and road info. Waze has been a reliable navigation app for the Filipino commuters since it saves a lot of time spent in traffic and in line with the popularity of the said app, CNN Philippines ran an informal poll a year ago asking the netizens who they think would be the voice behind the navigation app.

  No real winner was really announced according to rappler.com but majority said that they wanted comedienne Ruffa Mae Quinto to be their navigation voice. Who can’t blame them when the comedienne’s distinct voice would really be a perfect companion when stuck in Manila traffic?

  Finally, last Aug 4, the comedienne uploaded her “audition video” for the Waze gig on her newly-made YouTube channel . Her 4-minute video already reached 200,000 plus views since the upload.
