• Singers like Regine Velasquez, Sharon Cuneta, Martin Nievera, Ryan Cayabyab, and many more popularized local pop and ballad songs known as Original Pilipino Music or OPM for short. From then on, the sound of OPM has changed over the years adapting to the sound of the generation.
